1. DeLCON: DBT-Electronic Library Consortium DeLCON is a unique Electronic Journal Consortium which is operational since January 2009. Currently the Consortium includes 17 DBT Institutions. Others can also view and access abstracts of papers as free of costs. Some peer reviewed journals are accessible freely from this site.
2. Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) DOAJ is a website that hosts a community-curated list of open access journals. The project defines open access journals as scientific and scholarly journals making all their content available for free, without delay or user-registration requirement, and meeting high quality standards, notably by exercising peer review or editorial quality control. The number of journals is 12,728+ as of January, 2020.
3. ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) - (Partially Open Access) The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) is an online digital library of education research and information. ERIC is sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences of the United States Department of Education. ERIC provides access to 1.5 million bibliographic records (citations, abstracts, and other pertinent data) of journal articles and other education-related materials. Approximately one quarter of the complete ERIC Collection is available in full text.
4. HighWire (Free Online Full-text Articles) HighWire provides online hosting and technology solutions to publishers, management tools for librarians and unique search functionality for researchers. HighWire Press is the largest archive of free full-text science on Earth. It covers online publication of 2,434,604 free full-text articles and 7,659,003 total articles. There are 3 sites with free trial periods, and 67 completely free sites. 126 sites have free back issues, and 289 sites have pay per view.
