Brief History of the Department

Department of Commerce began its functioning from the academic session 2014-15 with a vision of providing holistic and value based education in the fields of Commerce and management. Though in its nascent stage of development, it always tries to inculcate research based aptitude among its students and faculty members. It always tries to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The main focus was to create an atmosphere of learning and creativity among the students by making them fully aware about the dynamics of business and its environment. It also thrives towards creating a people-centered, ecologically sustainable and just society that promotes and protects dignity, equality, social justice and human rights for all. The department strives to focus on those activities that would help the students to serve the world and the mankind well with their innovated skills and creativity.
